APPLICATION: To apply for the marathon you just have to come and give us your name. You
will get a member-number of us. If you want you can inform us also in advance about your
participation via e-mail. tenstamarathon@gmail.com
DESCRIPTION: The track is 5 Km long. It begins and ends at the same place. The track leads
through Tensta, its living areas and along the borders. We regard it as a very beautiful and
interesting track. You will pass the city’s interesting sights (e.g. the church and the water tower)
and enjoy the natural surrounding. Thanks Tenstas urban structure, created in the 1970’s, the
running track is all the time separated by car traffic. Blue flags and arrows mark the track to
show you the right way. In addition to that two members of our team will escort the running
group during the marathon with bicycles, in order to increase security and to show the right
way in case of misunderstandings. (See the map at the bottom of this document)
Every participant gets a member-number from us, which he or she has to fix visible on the body.
We will measure the personal time of every participant. The results will be available one or two
days later here on this page and here you also can stay in contact with your new friends you might have met during or
after the run. Plus: There will be pictures of the marathon-day and voices about it.
We wish every participant a successful and joyful run!
SECURITY: TENSTA MARATHON is not a official marathon. Every participant runs with own
risk. We do not provide any insurance and no participant owns rights for any benefits or
services of us. All participants are self-responsible. Parents are liable for their children.
